Analy Band Wagon

Fundraising Activities

ABW’s fundraising role is very important. Due to severe cutbacks, the district (WSCUHSD) funding allows us $4.54 per student per year to cover all expenses. All funding of the Program Coordinator position, which is necessary for the smooth running of Analy’s 5 ensembles, is provided by the ABW. To meet this need, the ABW has the following annual fundraising events:

ABW Fall Festival:

The annual Analy Band Wagon Fall Festival is a music festival that brings schools from Sonoma, Marin and Solano counties. The public is welcome to attend and listen to the groups perform in the Analy Auditorium. Performances last approximately 20 minutes per group. Groups perform on Friday from 3:00 - 9:00 pm and Saturday 8:00am to 4:00pm. Many parent volunteers are needed to host this festival. To volunteer at the festival, please call Janis Snyder, Program Coordinator, in the band office at 824-2337 or e-mail .

Thanksgiving Pie Sale Fundraiser:

During the month of November, the ABW sponsors this fundraiser to sell Koslowski Farms pies. Purchased pies are available for pick up Tuesday afternoon before Thanksgiving even though there is no school in session. Students hand out forms for pie sales, and the public can purchase pies directly on this website during the month of November. A small number of volunteers are needed to help organize the sale and work on day of pick-up. Watch the ABO news for announcements.

Pasta Night Fundraiser

In the spring, small independent student ensembles provide selected and favorite music pieces while diners enjoy a pasta dinner served at the Masonic Hall. A silent auction is also featured. Volunteers are needed for set-up and decoration, clean-up, coordinating student groups and procuring items for silent auction and staffing silent auction.
